With an incredible family-friendly feel, great schools, ever-rising property values, and an extremely short trip to LAX (you can get there within 20 minutes or less!), El Segundo is one of the jewels of the South Bay of Los Angeles.
Let’s start with the schools and the fact that major companies put an incredible amount of money into those schools. From Chevron to Mattel, major entities consistently give to those schools, helping subsidize programs that most public schools aren’t lucky enough to enjoy. Next, consider the fact that both the NBA’s Lakers and NHL’s Kings have their training facilities in ES. Whether you’re a sports fan or not, having two major sports organizations in one city is pretty awesome! Combine those pluses with the fact that the main street in ES is Main St., and you have the small-town feel of a major metropolitan city.
